2 of us went on his study abroad trip and both of us were forced to the top of a mountain with one of his employees. It was a assault. He failed to do ANYTHING about this and both of us left the group. We reported this to Wayne and nothing was ever done. Brushed under the rug.

This man is hands down the greatest professor I ever had. His knowledge and dedication to Italian culture made this course an absolute privilege to be a part of. You are doing yourself an injustice if you pass an opportunity to enroll in one of his classes.

Great teacher! Obviously the person underneath me is the problem because everyone (including myself) loved his classes. Also, apparently he does know everything about the Italian culture because he has the docterit, not you. Read his book and come to class and you'll do well. He is always willing to help you.

I loved this teacher. He is so charming and stylish. I loved his class, he kept my attention. If you take good notes then you?ll do well in the class. I never read and got A?s on the quizzes.

I think he is overrated on this site. He wasn't a bad teacher, but his lectures were hampered by his English not being quite that fluid, with the "uhs" and "ahs", looking for words. As far as the material is concerned, it is moderately interesting, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to look elsewhere for the group requirement for your degree.

My second class with DeBenedictis; just as good as the first. Great topics, 2-3 cool movies, and just a great professor overall. It was fun to attend his classes. Take notes & read the text, it really is a cake walk. Tests & quizzes are never more than 20-25 questions, multiple choice. Ask him questions and he will clarify things even on tests.

Loved this class! Loved the professor. He was great eye candy for me, I sat in front! (Yes, he is short, 5'5"-5'6", but cute.) The class is so easy. It's not boring, he is so enthusiastic and passionate about the subject of course. You will learn from a man who is 100% Italian. Class is in English. Always sign the attendance sheet it's for points.

AWESOME GUY! I loved going to class and he makes the learning fun! Taking notes isn't horrible in this class and he uses his own book that he wrote, so its an easy read. Never a boring moment and if you go to class and read the book the tests/ quizzes will be easy for you! You get the chance, take him!!

He is interesting, class is easy but be prepared to learn that everything good in this world is ITALIAN, of course. It's actually good/non-boring material but I do not get all the hype about his hotness, short little guy with no neck who wears clothes fit for either his grandson or his grandfather sometimes. If you like culture and you want a really easy class, take this one. Nice guy, VERY VERY proud to be italian (but kinda boastful). Class is interesting, hardly any work at all, just worry about getting attendance points for class and studying for the exams.
