Not responsive to emails and questions. The online course is not taught with the student's best interest in mind. Must memorize every bit of detail in the book to take the exams.

Pretty easy class. Tests are straight from the power points, but its a lot of terms to memorize. Occasional online homework(use quizlet, very easy) and some easy in class stuff. Lectures are pointless, bring homework. Only has class every other week. Just memorize terms before tests and its easy.

Very tough. Only teacher for this class. Thick accent. Very hard to understand, even when you ask for help. Be prepared to read the textbook HE CREATED for the class to try to understand the material more. The book is almost just as confusing, but it helps a bit. Tests are 70% of your grade, so study hard!

Dr. Kaula is a very good prof. Know your SQL and work the examples given in class and the homework assignments. The concepts in the HW are what you need to know. Go to class, pay attention and you will do well. Exams are very important, final is optional if you do well on the exams.

This class is very simple. There are 3 tests and an optional final. The tests are full of definitions so it is extremely easy if you study vocab in the notes or in the book. Assignment are really easy points. You also get points for attendance. There are mandatory wall street journal discussions on blackboard, which get annoying but aren't bad.

The class itself is pretty straightforward - part of the grade is for attendance. He pretty much quotes the book verbatim, so if you have any prior knowledge of CIS you'll be bored stiff. The tests are alright - just read your PowerPoint notes, he uses definitions pretty much straight from them. Boring class, but a good grade is pretty easy to get.

Pretty easy teacher. I skipped class all the time and still got a B. His tests are pretty easy. I'd take him again

This was my first ever professional level database course. So obviously it was challenging to me. But it was a great class, I learn a lot and I will take Rajeevs in the Spring 2006. Just do the in-class and assigned assignments and read the chapters, and you will understand what he talks about in class.

Be Prepared!!!! Definately take Kaula over Dattero for this class, the difference is between a C or an F. The tests are hard. It's 2 parts, multiple choice and coding. The multiple choice comes exactly from the beginning of the chapters, Study that and you'll do fine there. As for the code.....

The first test is the hardest off all. Do the assignments and make sure you understand them. You have to create a program during test time.
