This medical ethics class was one of the most difficult classes I've had to take. No matter how hard I studied I never seemed to improve in his class. If your answers are not exactly spot on with his opinion, then its wrong. One of the more unfortunate classes I've had to take..

If you put in a lot of time to this class then a A would be easy. His lectures are pretty interesting but there is a lot of reading to be done. If you don't read the articles don't expect to get a good grade on the quizzes.

I took the online Medical Ethics course and Dr. Baergen is an amazing professor. It is important to listen to every lecture, take good notes, and do the assigned readings. Though it seems like a lot of work at first, the material is super interesting and the professor is very knowledgeable. Only complaint is that he has very dry humor.

I really enjoyed his Medical Ethics class. He's Canadian and will tell you all about it. :) I took this over the summer, so it was a bit heavy on workload, but it was enjoyable and easy enough if you watch the lectures and read the articles. The midterm and the Final are mostly made up of the previous quiz questions.

He is a nerd about medical ethics and was one of my favorite professors by far. He's a little dry, and class is simply lectures. His humor isn't for everyone but if you have any interest in medical stuff or ethics you will enjoy the humor. If you like both ethics and medicine you will love the class.

Very clear grader. What's on his syllabus is what you'll be doing. If you are one to skim through readings then you will fail. The readings and lecture material are essential in this class. He also gives a consistent schedule every week so it was easy to keep track of hw. Easy class to pass if you do the work and do it right.

This is an easy class if you do all the work. For the quizzes and tests you can have a certain amount of notes.
