Donald is a great guy, but he is a really harsh grader. I have rewritten my final script about 4 times, and he takes a point off for each mistake. I think it's not fair. I feel like the grade should be based OVERALL, not just on format or grammar. We are students, we are here to learn we won't have a perfect script right the bat!

Easy class, attendance is mandatory, class is kind of boring but you really don't need to pay attention unless there is a guest lecture, test are ten questions that he give you the answer to. Also the group project is easy when you have a good group. I would reccomend.

I like Dr. Donald. Sure, his jokes are hokey, he sometimes gets off topic, and his class is incredibly easy given a bit of effort. I like cheesy comedy, he has some interesting stories, and allowing us to write and rewrite helped a lot. He responds promptly to emails, and is as helpful as any teacher I have had.

I wanted to shoot myself every day I had to sit through his class. He is completely unhelpful, uninsightful, dull, and loves to talk about absolutely nothing for extremely long periods of time. He's been out of the business too long. And watch out for the video on advertising he made in the late 70s, staring himself, he makes ALL his classes watch.
