Great teacher. Always asking if we have questions and answers, usually no one does because he really lectures well. He is easy to understand you if you listen and not miss a word because he can be a speed talker at times. 3 take home tests and 1 final. Take class ASAP because it sounds like he won't be here long because of how SDSU is treating him.

Dr. Ramaswamy was extremely knowlegable on the subject contents. He always on time to class and lectured effectively. His exams are positive towards learning. He is one of the best professor that I had at SDSU. I recommend this class to my fellow friends without any hesitation. He is very kind, modest and a true gentleman.

Wow. Smart guy, but an incredible awkward class. It's hard to describe what he's like unless you've taken his class. Strange comments during lectures. Just a weird class.

Comment:

Highly recommended, knows his stuff, and hammers it into your brain with in-class examples. Easy going and approachable with questions. He does have an accent, but his English is top notch. Sometimes he goes too fast, but he writes everything down and if you have questions, he answers them. My only negative is that he didn't stick to the syllabus.

Ok ...ok I got a good grade in this class. But honestly the only way I did is because I didn't say anything and complain. I highly recommend not taking this class. You will not be able to understand him. Gets mad if you ask him questions. Look elsewhere.

Prof. Ramaswamy is a good teacher. A little depressed about leaving RICE but he really knows his stuff. Take the time to pay attention and not screw off in class and you'll learn alot. You can't always blame the teacher for why you didn't learn!

Teacher is garbage. No more take home tests. Gets really confused if asked questions in class (think deer in headlights look). I didn't understand what he was saying until 2/3 through the semester. Beware!!

Very easy A. At first I didn't understand what the hell the profesor was saying. He gives us take home exams and drops the lowest score and doubles the highest. You'll get an easy A, but you MUST study or else you'll be screwed in Math 151.

Speaks in a low monotone voice and covers the board as he writes. I won't know anything for Math 151. Day before the final, people were still learning the differential rules. Very easy and very nice, but you don't learn anything. I guarantee.
