The course was one of the most useful ones I've ever taken at UBC. You learn how to design and compose professional looking technical do****ents. After the course, I produced a fabulous resume that helped me get the job of my dreams.

This course taken online should be a mark booster. However, if you take this course with her, you will not be rewarded the way you wished for. The comments she makes on the assignments are not very helpful and they are very vague. She will not give you any break down of the marks.

She will prepare you well for technical writing in the real world. There are many assignments in this online course, but most of them don't take a long time to write. Just follow the schedule and put some effort into making your documents look professional. She will reward you for a strong effort.

Very good prof!I don't understand all the negative comments. She is a really nice,fun and helpful teacher,and if you work hard you will get good result. I feel very well informed and well prepared for my english courses in the future. Highly recommanded.

The worst prof I've ever had. Very immature; her comments on written work obsure and her criticism unconstructive; and if she doesn't like you she will find the most nit-pickey things as justification for poor marks.
