Dr. Kopper is amazing! First off, his name is Kopper and he teaches chemistry. Need I say more? Okay, well if you insist His lectures can be dull if you don't enjoy chemistry, but the pacing is good and he is quite clear. He has generous office hours and he will ALWAYS help you if you come to him. He is also a subtle yet amusing jokester.

Comment:
The only grades in the class were quizzes and tests. They were not very hard, but would only be 7 problems or so long. If you messed up on one part you were screwed, bc he didn't ever use error carried through the problem. He didn't offer any additional homework that would be similar to his tests or quizzes, or test review sessions. Not helpful :(

I felt like the grades that I made in his class did not reflect the knowledge that I gained from this class. If you are clumsy and put numbers into the calculator wrong then you basically failed his test. I obviously understood the material but these small errors added up. I mean THEY REALLY ADDED UP.

Great Class! Kopper is excellent at explaining challenging concepts clearly, and when you're lucky he will throw in a nerdy joke. Tests are very straight forward. This class is a great pick.

Wonderful chem teacher!!! Really helpful in his office hours. He really cares! And although his tests aren't easy, they are very straight forward. Overall, fantastic!!!!!

In General Chemistry, he's easy; in biochem., he's tricky and hard. However, if you can stay awake, he is the most thorough teacher at Hendrix and his office door is always open. He cares a great deal about his students' concerns.
