Ortiz is an excellent professor, although the material can be alittle hard at times; he actually takes time to help explain the material to the point where it actually seems easy. pro.Ortiz is also one of the best advisers, in terms of helping choising class and careers.He is always willing to help.

This is a tough class to begin with, but Ortiz won't take pressure off until you get it. He is willing to work as much as you want outside of class and encourages students to argue with him. He treats students like adults rather than kids and expects you to think and make decisions. I learned a lot!
