I had him for C++, Operating Systems and Embedded Systems 2. August is an awesome teacher if you give him a chance. In a small class like 5 or 7, he will go out his way to teach you because he is more passionate. But in a large lecture class, you're better off reading the book because he only picks on his favorites. you'll never learn that way.

Hes a good guy and knows some stuff. BUT other then that he SUCKS! class is waste lectures are all over the place, Doesn't care about his students, does not show up to office hours, and will screw you on a test. Questions are scrambled and homework doesn't make sense. RUN AWAY!

Weak professor. His homework assignments are okay, his tests are often confusing and subjective, and his lectures are almost completely useless. He makes no effort to engage the students. He lectures as if it is only a secondary or tertiary responsibility of his as a university professor.

I really like him as a professor. I've had him for several classes and he gives challenging work that makes me work hard, but I like the challenge. He most definitely does NOT qualify as the "worst teacher ever" or anything like that. He knows his material.
