omg! i love mr. newburg! i had to take theatre as a pre elective. this class is soo fun! he truly cares about the students. gives you all your quizzes back answered for you to help you study! great interaction with the class! he is a must take! i am now attending all the productions just because he impacted me and another student that much!

Thinks that his first level drama class is a very important subject, when in reality most people are just taking it to get their fine arts credit and move on. I could understand such a demand for a drama passion in his students if it were a higher level drama class with drama majors, but not for this class.

Took this class online and if i only did part of a discussion he explained what i did in order to not get full credit. He did this for anything i did not get an A on. If i would have completed the last critique correctly i would have gotten an A. If you need a dram class... TAKE THIS ONE!!!

Ray you rock.....and to anyone looking at having him...hes good....no hes better than that he really cares about the students....I had Ray in Intro to theatre, Stage makeup, Stagecraft I &II, and Intro to costuming and he made the classes fun and enjoyable and now I can't seem to find a professor that cared so much anywhere else...check out his class, it is worth it!

Okay, this guy has got to be one of the most misplaced people I've ever had the honor of getting to know. His talents far exceed his position as a college professor, and I'd encourage anyone to take his classes. (Intro to Theatre is a boring class by its very nature, but Ray is a fun guy to have teaching it.) He is also a designer at the school - and a director. If you have the chance to work with him, you know he's a badass.
