Comment:

Hes very knowledgeable on what he teaches and his class provides so much help that its hard not to get an A. I went into this class thinking it was gonna be unbearably hard, but this class made excel fun and something Id love to learn even further. One thing I dont prefer is the final being on paper compared to all other exams being on excel.

Great professor, if your taking QBA 1720 hes the one to take the class with. Homework and Prep assignments are at your own pace, with alot of help in class as well. Its a 3 day class but only 2 days are mandatory.

This is by far one of my favorite professors. You have a fair amount of work but if you show up to class and your weekly meetings, you will get an easy A. Exams did not have to be taken in the classroom however it was far more beneficial to take them in class because you could get a lot of help from Dr. Frost. He's a wonderful professor

Kind and likable professor. Responds quickly to emails and questions outside of class and is open to granting extensions on assignments. Class is mainly based on group assignments, individuals homework assignments and prep assignments, and 3 exams with the lowest grade of the first 2 dropped. If you actually try, you should get an A.

Three assignments per week: Prep, In-Class, and Homework. You have one for each topic and the prep has a video that guides you through the assignment and can be useful to reference throughout the week. In-Class assignments are done in groups and attendance isn't mandatory, but your group could easily turn you in if you don't get your work done.

Frost is great. He's a really nice guy and very knowledgeable. In this class, all the learning is done outside of class you only come to class to work on the weekly group projects. Frost explains things clearly and makes the class really simple. Overall extremely easy class.

Dr. Frost is a really good guy, you can tell he cares about the students he teaches and how they do. Definitely recommended, assignments are pretty much excel based and not too challenging.

Overall, none of the material in this class is very challenging. The IRAT/TRATS suck the first couple times but then get easier. Assignments have videos that go with them and make them easy. The coolest part of this class is you get to make an app which was fun. The final for this class is awful compared to the coursework so beware.

Easy class, a lot of busy work homework but not too bad. If the final exam isn't curved .... thats crazy in my opinion though. A lot of the early final time classes failed and i assume the later ones passed considering people helping etc. Extremely tough final but other than that pretty easy.

Dr. Frost is one of the best teachers I've had in college, he's very passionate and cares about all of his students. Lots of excel assignments but there's tutorials and a ton of help. Loved him and the class!

He needs to calm down with his obsession of Macs and it makes it difficult to follow his lectures since he could care less about Windows which the majority of people own.. Overall easy class if you do the work

Definitely take Professor Frost if you get the chance. He is one of my favorite professors by far. He is very knowledgeable of the course information and is very helpful with any questions you might have. Go to class and attend the labs and you'll pass with flying colors!

Comment:

The first half of the semester was great. You play around with Excel and learn some really cool things. However, we only had about 5 days in school do our final projects, which reflected in our grade. My team had schedule conflicts, which lead us to only meet once before we had to do our presentation. If he fixes this, the class will be 10x better!

Frost is a nice guy, his lectures aren't the most helpful at times. The online book and lab force you to learn the material. You really have to keep up with the work because each project tends to work off of the last one. If you do every assignment and show up to class you will more than likely get an A.

Very easy class. You do online homework and in class team tests. He is very nice and considerate. Ask questions. Attendance is a lot of your grade so just go. Nothing hard at all.
