I had him for an online class. He seems like a very nice person although I have never actually met him. As far as the curriculum goes, it is a lot of heavy reading followed by a tough multiple choice test. There was one extra credit assignment which was really easy and worth doing. He never really taught me any material though.

I'm taking his online class, and I don't care how nice he apparently is, this is the worst class I've taken at bucks so far. The only thing you do in this class is read the text book and go all the way to the testing center to take the test. The most guidance you'll get is the cheat sheet but nothing else, not even power points.

He is a very nice guy! But be prepared to study hard, take notes and read the textbooks. Tests are hard!!! His class is interesting but boring because he just talks and you copy down notes off of the PowerPoints the whole class. I would recommend this class if it interest you but be aware of the amount of studying you will be doing.

Dr. O'Briens lectures are super interesting. He knows so much about the places we learn about. Don't take this class for an easy A, but if you want to learn something, he is great. He gives 3 tests, that you'll do well if you study. He gives opportunities for easy extra credits. He really wants his students to do well.

His tests are EXTREMELY hard in my opinion. I would read the chapters, take notes and study off his hint lists and there would still be things I would miss. I feel like this would be a better class if the structure was different. He gives opportunity for extra credit, TAKE IT!! It totally helped me in the end!! Not awful, but not amazing either.

Dr. O'Brien teaches a History of Bucks County course that is wonderful!!! Very informative. There is no exams for this class, just a midterm and final report. He's a nice guy and the lectures are entertaining. Enjoying his class so far.

Hey you future students! Mr. Raymond is an awesome teacher! I have him currently let me just say that he is very helpful, the notes are good but you will have to read up more into detail of course. There are 4 tests and a final. He drops your lowest test grade. And you can do a research project to bump up 1 TEST score only. But take him he's cool:)

A joy! Dr. O'Brien is an informative professor who knows his subject and does not go off topic. 3 tests during the semester with extra cred. opportunities; one final presentation. Test wording can be difficult, he grades on a curve. No homework but assigned reading. Participate in class (not hard here!) and study for the exams!

All these negative comments from mediocre kids! DR. O'BRIEN = EXCELLENT! Very friendly! Will explain anything. Lectures during class and tries to make it interesting w/ fun facts. TAKE NOTES! Overally fair with the EXTRA CREDIT. Read at all the questions in a section of the test. You find answers in other questions. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

Wow. I can't believe how many commented negatively... Dr. O'Brien was GREAT! He couldn't have made this class any easier. Perhaps others did poorly because they didn't put in the effort, as opposed to their failure being O'Brien's fault. He's knowledgeable and interesting. AND, class was 6:30-9pm and no one fell asleep. People got A's, too!

He is extremely long-winded with a slight Boston accent. His is very nice and clearly knowledgeable in his subject matter. His tests are HARD. His lectures may seem like they have nothing to do with anything, but pretty much everything he lectures about shows up on the test. Takes a potentially very interesting course and makes you hate it. Class is extremely boring. Babbles a lot, and you never know what will show up on the next-to-impossible test. Lots of reading. He does curve tests but it won't help much. Very nice guy, but not so great a teacher.

this teacher sucks! he lectures all class and shuffles through overheads all class.. he repeats himself so much while studdering a little bit so it takes 5 min to get one thing across. his tests are completly ridiculous! they are impossible. i do not regret dropping the class at all

Dr. O'Brien is a great professor. He is very nice and teaches this subject with an engaging manner. His class is not easy but you will learn more than you think. If you pay attention in class and read (do your part) you will do fine. I work 60 hours a week as a firefighter and I still got an "A" in his class. He is understanding with his attendance

This class was ridiculous. I struggled so much. Studied hours and days for the tests and could not do well no matter what. Tests are impossible to pass and most questions come from no where. Only good thing is he curves because no one does well. You will not learn anything from this clas. Waste of money
