first off, I love professor Vince as a person. I had him for comp 1 and 2. He does talk a lot and he goes off topic a lot. Barely touched the textbook in comp 1, but comp 2 is literature based , so crack that book open! There were four essays with gradually increasing word counts easy tests ten-200 word essays 5 easy quizzes easy exams

He is a wonderful professor who is extremely understanding and always has and upbeat attitutude. He may get off topic from time to time, but his class is enjoyable and pretty easy. Quizes are like exams but if you study, the answers are obvious. He is not a harsh grader on papers or on grammer.

Great teacher! Will help you better understand the reading materials. Although I will say his quizzes are more like exams so be prepared! Also, he tends to get off track dring lecture about things totally unrelated to the topic. Fair Grader although he prefers "simply written" papers.

GREAT teacher. Looked forward to class every week. Has cool British accent. Always had a smile on his face. Always available for helping students. Read the books and you'll pass the tests. There are two research papers due on the readings. Again, extremely good teacher.

amazing man with a real passion for the works he teaches, as well as the students he is teaching. very respectful and easy to access outside of class even though he teaches at 3 universities. absolutely amazing teacher, and person!!! if more USF teachers were on this level, i'd be getting my masters there...but thats not the case. YAY DR VINCE!!!

by far the BEST teacher i have encountered at USF!!! sets a new standard, few can live up to. very knowledgable man, with a real passion for literature and teaching. very caring and always accessable (even if its meetings @ starbucks). goes above and beyond with his concern and respect for students. if you read the books, youll have no issues

Dr. Vince is a great teacher. he can be a little boring when he goes off on tangents, but it is becuase he is so interested in his subject and teaching in general. He has more degress than any teacher or person Ive ever met, and has a genuine desire to teach and learn. Hes a pretty easy grader if you go to class and follow directions. Tests=easy.

I loved this professor. He doesn't ask much of you and is clear in what he wants. If you do the work, you'll get an A. He tells you exactly what he will quiz you on, so if you study, you'll do fine. No tests except for final exam.

He is a fantastic professor! The books are all very interesting and lectures were a pleasure, he has a very nice reading voice when going over important excerpts from the book-when he does that, underline the passages b/c will often be on the test. He is extremely helpful and kind, very easy to talk to and cares alot about his students. A+ prof!

Loved this class!! the quizzes were very easy, and so were the papers. Just read the books, I thought all of them were great. Vince does tend to go over the same stuff more than once, but it's worth it, because it's a nice class. I would definitely take him again

He was a fantastic teacher but with a slight tendency to go off on tangents (most professors are guilty of that). The tests were easy in format if you studied and I never received anything lower than a B. The best study tool would be to just read what's on the study guide only :].

BORING! He read entire chapters to us in class. I mean what was that. I had trouble keeping awake and did not learn much from his lecture. It wasn't much of a lecture anyway. He went off on too many tangents. His tests are pretty much easy though and he's a fair grader on the essays. He's not all that funny either. *sigh*
