Mr. Carl is very old and is out occasionally for surgery. His class is not boring, but his grading is strict. I lost a point on a lab because I left out the word, "Excessive". Other than that, his tests are multiple choice with a great study guide. Just get through the labs and homework and you've got an A.

As much as I hate science, I loved this class. Mr. Carl is a very educated man in earth science. He was very helpful during the course and made class interesting. You can really tell he enjoys what he's doing and in return his students enjoy the class

Mr. Carl is the BEST! Even though his class gets a little long sometimes, he is really funny and made us laugh throughout the semester. His tests are a little long but it's worth it. We LOVE Mr. Carl!!!
