Comment:

Miss Anderson is a very dedicated and passionate teacher. She makes the class challenging, but u can earn a decent grade if u put in the effort and seek help. Was accessible outside of class and very understanding. Some of the lab work seemed like busy work, yet the variety of the activities made it easy to complete. I highly recommend her.

I had Ms. Anderson last year and she is one of the best spanish teachers at smc. She helped me understand the concept of knowing where to put the accents in words. She gives a lot of homework but its not a lot and the lab work is pretty interesting. She made my class fun and less intimidating for me by making us work in groups all the time.

She is honestly one of the nicest professors I've had and wants you to do well and succeed but that does not stop her from giving you a bad grade if she thinks you deserve one. I will say that I am a Spanish illiterate. I've never been good at it. If you have basic control of Spanish and study the vocab and rules you should get a B

Rebecca expects a lot and doesn't care what else is going on in your life. One minute late to class, she scolds you. If you understand spanish, you will do fine in the class, if you don't, it can be difficult. The homework is tedious, like in high school, but expected and will boost grade. Very nice woman but long and boring class.

One of the best professors at SMC. She really cares about what she does and will take as much extra time as needed till you understand. Her sweetness and patience does not mean she's easy. She does not accept excuses, you must show up, and do all the work. She's inspired me to explore the language further and possibly to teach.

This teacher taught me many things I didn't know. I'm glad I took Spanish 11 with her and I hope to take Spanish 12 with her as well. You need to study for quizzes and exams. Lectures are pretty clear, but you need to spend some extra time in order to fully understand. She gives lots of practice.

i thought i failed, but since i did ALL my hw, class work, lab hours, and so forth, that's the minimum requirements to pass the course. it's a little risky so pass your quizzes and do your best on your test and you pass instantly. she's a great lady loves to help for students that want to achieve, not for slackers and lazy peeps

Fantastic Professor but BE PREPARED TO WORK YOUR BUTT OFF. She's not for slackers and if you apply yourself you're bound to learn alot. She wants you to suceed, and is always there to help. I was cussing at myself for taking this class in the beginning but ended up taking SPAN 12 because I learned so much from SPAN 11. Vale la pena, boludo! ;)

In her Spanish 3 class she does not allow the usage of the essential personal "a" .Always citing that in Spain it is not used, Hello? where does she think it came from? Anderson only confuses native speakers and worse teaches wrong it is hard to unlearn something, when learned wrong. wake up people, you gave her an award?
