Dr. Appleton is a difficult teacher. If she is lecturing, be prepared to have difficulty following what she is trying to say. She jumps around from subject to subject without explaining the material very well. Be prepared to read your book in order to clarify concepts on your own. Sometimes comes to class in a horrible mood, so watch out!

Dr. Appleton IS a hard teacher, but people this is supposed to be difficult, it's a NURSING class. She could stand to reorganize her notes & bipolar, but other than that she's a good prof. If you need help, just drop by her office and she will do what she can & she returned ALL my emails. She really does wants us to succeed. I would recommend her.

Dr. Appleton is a very nice person. Her class could be very enjoyable, but she tends to get distracted by students asking the CRAZIEST questions. So, we had to do a lot on our own. Tests could be confusing because they were "judgment calls" in the end. It was an okay class.

Seriously, this class was horrible. Was not taught in classroom before moved to online. Content narrowed, but still way too much. Too many details for the students to ever remember. Tests really hard! Quizzes not at a good time if you have OB the next day w/ exams every other week in there! If it's online, make it all online w/ freedom!

Interesting professor. Loves to tell stories, which could be distracting at times and led to more reading(material she didn't cover). Limited interaction with her, but seemed easy to work with. Class is not that difficult if you go, take notes, read and have a brain in your head. But it's not like any other class in college.

Dr. Appleton was a JOY to have in class. I think she has a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. Her tests are somewhat difficult but if you DO the work/reading assigned, they aren't that bad at all. I enjoyed having her in class.
