Ms. B is a sterling English instructor! Reading material is always fascinating and engaging, and feedback is timely, extremely detailed, and greatly assists you in developing as a writer. Expect daily homework and interesting class discussions. Responds promptly and helpfully to emails (nights/weekends) esp. regarding the research paper. A gem!

A PhD who writes research papers in UW. Grade assignments presentation strictly, except for in-class writing(almost everyday).Have reading homework nearly every too.Quite good in teaching, but a strict grader. If you are targeting for 3.6 n above, triple your hard work, but 4.0 is still impossible. minimum of 8 pages of research paper as final paper.

Many in-class writing(grading your word but not grammar or so), alot of readings, short writing & major assignments, presentation. Engagement in class is important.A PhD also working in UW doing research papers, quite knowledgeable in teaching eng, however,if u are targeting to get above 3.7, triple your hardwork. 4.0 is nearly impossible from her.
