I had her with two other professors for Perspectives of the holocaust, and overall the class did not do very much for me because a lot of it was about service learning - however, she is a very nice person who is easy to talk with and an easy grader. I'm sure if you take a class with her by herself it will be very good. I do recommend her.

Dr. Leavitt is a wonderful professor. Although, she speaks very slowly and can get a little boring, she has a wonderful personality and loves what she does. She tries her hardest to help you in any way she can. You may want to fall asleep, but she is an easy A.

she was waaaaaaaaaaaay to easy and aloof about EVERYTHING i felt that i was in group therapy...so if you need a little group time take pycho social development of women...it really was a pointless class, i didnt learn much, but the book trauma and recovery is an awesome book if you are looking into working with trauma victims
