She is very nice but incredibly disorganized. She gives good feedback on papers and clearly is very intelligent. But the disorganization of the class makes it much harder than it needs to be. She is constantly changing assignments and due dates and did not have a syllabus for the second half of the class. Class isn't hard but so disorganized

Dr. Potter is a genuinely kind woman and her lectures are thought provoking. Her class is unfortunately quite disorganized and sometimes leaves you wondering what to do for homework. Work wise, we had a few short papers, a couple online tests, and a term paper. Work load was manageable, but if you're one to obsess over organization, don't take.

Dr. Potter is a total hippie. She made the class interesting with her little side stories. She's quite scatter-brained, but she knows her English like the backs of both her hands, feet, and ears. She is beautifully nice and willing to help us young college kids when they need it. I. Would. Recommend. Doctor. Potter. To. You.

Not only is she very attractive, but she is an easy grader. She has a stigmatism and is therefore all over the place and often forgets to grade your papers. Once she does, she grade quite easy.

I hated this class! It was so boring and pointless! I learned next to nothing and hated every minute of it. Only had like five short responses and one long paper to write, but still...I would not recommend Potter!

Love Dr. Potter! She's a great teacher, and relates to her students. Although there is a lot of reading and writing, she makes it interesting and she clarifies anything you might not understand. I highly recommend taking her. She's great!

easy prof. Friendly and usually puts on a typically very interesting class. required almost no work. 3 mid size papers, a 5 or 6 short response papers, 1 final research paper and NO TESTS! great class, great woman and she's kind of a hippie... highly recommended.

Love her. One class I definitely enjoyed going to, kind of feels like high school though. Extremely nice and helpful. Does teach, but doesn't have the guts to make her students do much work. Wrote a 9 page research term paper in about four hours and got an A-. Easy grader, and if you somehow mess up a paper, you can redo it.

Good teacher, really excited about teaching. The class requires a lot of reading but I actually enjoyed some of the reading from World of Ideas. Only required about 3 papers to be written with a few small assignments. Overall I would recommend this teacher.
