Comment:
This professor did not embody the characteristics needed to inspire creativity among youth. The professor genuinely cared about students, but didn't bring the sparkle or the passion to the classroom.

Comment:
Her class is dull, but early American lit is quite dull too. The reading assignments are painful (lots of Benjamin Franklin and prejudice Puritans). The essays are easy, but equally dull (she does compare and contrast papers). I faked my way through the papers and got a B. Not hard, but drink plenty of coffee for this course.

All the take-home quines are easy and a sure thing A.. The tests are hard if you cant remember quotes, that will kill your test score. Papers aren't too challenging, its just her grading is tough

Very knowledgable, and makes you think. You don't feel dumb for speaking up (she's happy to hear you speak), and she has a good sense of humor too. A fairly hard marker though, so you have to put some effort in.

Alot of class discussion. She wants to make you think. You do not have to agree with her, just make your point. She was awesome. I did not want to take the class,(it was required) but was so glad I did. Alot of writing, but again she wants you to think, Not memorize and regurgitate.
