Dr. Storms is pretty great in tutorials and in his office. Very patient and will explain the problems over and over if he needs to. I stopped going to class halfway through This class is overwhelming at first, but stick until after the midterm! it gets easier Attend tutorials+do practice problems A good grade Open book exams (not on quizzes)

This teacher has a lot of patience!! If you come to his office hours he will explain everything again and again. And if you do all the sample problems correct them at his office you can get an A!

unless you sit in the first row dont bother going to class, cant hear a thing this guy says! Exams are very difficult, avg is usually very low, but will curve a lot in the end, better to take with a diff teacher

Comment:

The final exam for gene structure was very easy, but everything up to that point was a complete struggle. Every day, he handpicks EVERY student to answer his crazy questions, which gives a negative, juvenile atmosphere to the class. The class is somewhat interesting, but his grading is somewhat arbitrary. I DO NOT RECCOMEND STORMS OR THIS COURSE

Nice guy. Easy going. Willing to make himsels available to help you. Quizzes not bad and midterm okay also. He will fiddle with the grades to get them in the range that he wants (B range), so just be ahead of the average. Hated the way he constanly picked on random classmembers asking questions in class. On the spot much?
