Nice enough guy. Pretty fair. Gives very clear expectations as to what the course will entitle. Not very helpful though. He'll mark you down for "grammatical errors" even when you're correct. But if you point it out to him he'll give you back the points. Also find it ridiculous that he allows "no electronic devices" in his class. Doesn't use moodle

Comment:

A nice guy who is fair, and wants you to do your personal best. Two big projects which take time, but not very hard. This was a very fun class to attend and was a comfortable enviorment to speak in. The tests are not easy at all, but pay attention to reviews and study hard and you will do fine.

I thought his class was easy. The exams are a little difficult but if you paid attention at all during class you can easily scrape by with B's on them. The projects were all "if you do them you get 100%" so don't stress. This was taking the class 3 times a week for an hour, from my understanding the 3.5 hour class is a little worse.

This is an awesome professor. I dont understand all the negative comments about him on here but this class was fairly easy. Make sure you pay attention to his test reviews. I dont like public speaking but the atmosphere of this class was very comfortable. I would recommend him.

This guy is amazing!!! He has high expectations and will help you to achieve whatever you think is possible for you. Don't believe the lazy students who expect that Communication classes are easy.

Professor McCloud is extremely misunderstood. People think that he is arrogant, but he is real. He is a man that I want to have a frienship with after leaving OU. He is knowledge and expects a lot from students. Isn't that what we are in college for though. One of the only professors I thought that made me think at Oakland, very worthwhile.

HORRIBLE! He is extremely rude and sarcastic like a previous student commented. He enjoys humiliating students in front of the class. Extremely cocky and let's it effect his teaching. Also, a lot of busy work for a COM 202 course. I would not reccommend this professor!

He was pretty cool. He gives the the answers to the tests, he gives extra credit for reading & printing out current events, which you will discussion in class. I admit he does talk alot, but he's very knowledgeable.

I'm not sure why there are so many poor reviews, I think Professor McCloud was great. Okay so the class wasn't the easiest I took,but we are in school to work and learn right? If you make the effort to participate and actually learn something, you will do well. He might actually teach you something outside of the curriculum.

This is a 200 level class. Since when was a 200 level class HARDER then the hardest class for COM majors (COM Theory). He has an aditude problem, he's extremely sarcastic, & his grading on speeches is ridiculous. Personally I think his grading is HORRIBLE. If you have loads of time to prepare speeches all day then this class is for you.

This teacher is HORRIBLE! He thinks that he is right no matter what, he gives WAY to much work out, he talks down to you in front of everyone else, he does not explain anything, and a fun fact: his jaw moves back and fourth while he is laughing its SO ANNOYING! DONT take him for this class!

Not an understanding or compassionate person at all. Very critical. Defnitatly only take this class in spring or summer, you'll die if you had to be in there for a real semester.
