She is weird but fun. Public speakng is not the kind of class most people are comfortable with but she makes it tolerable with her stories from her personal life so everybody can relate. Im not sure her grading system makes sense to anyone but her. She has been at NCC for a very long time so she has seen it all. She cares about her students.

Amazing Professor!!!!!!! I know for some, public speaking is a class that people wait to take last because of the fear of Public Speaking... some don't even take it at all but I can assure you that Professor Edge is an amazing professor who makes you feel soooooo comfortable with talking to your classmates when it's your time to speak to the class.

She's an incredibly inspirational woman who has done so much in her life. She genuinely cares about her students and will give lots of feedback. She's easily accessible, she'll respond quickly to emails and can make time to talk about anything. Her class changes your perspective on a lot of things and opens up your mind. Best professor ever.

Extremely caring & understanding. Might seem a little whacky and odd but it's her attitude that makes class fun and enjoyable. A lot of work in general but not impossible. I wanted to drop the class because I thought she was crazy & there was so much work but I'm glad I didn't. Learned things that will be useful in the future. Give her a chance

Professor Edge is one of the most creative and charismatic teachers I have ever had. She created a warm and accepting environment for students to speak their mind with comfort in the classroom. Shes a fun teacher! interested topics just alot of homework! every night reading short stories from 10-15 pages on top of that she would have us answer questions that she collects everyday. you have journals to do everyday then a big project at the end. overall is was worth it, but you must do your hw! leadership development class

This professor was the most compassionate out of all of the professors at NCC that I have taken so far. She went out of her way to help you, but you had to apply yourself. Expected. This was the first Leadership class that had been given and that I had taken, I am very happy with the outcome of my grade. She really cares about her students.

LOTS AND LOTS of writing and reading to do for this class. This is pretty much a Art class there is nothing creative about it! If you have an interest in art, readings, and music then you will like this class if you don't STAY AWAY from this class. BTW she has ADHD some find it funny I find it more annoying than anything!

She's great. Will work with you if you're having issues and always let's you rewrite papers and doesn't mind if you don't have a paper the day it's due, as long as you get it to her by the next class. Extremely quirky, but is a great person with a great heart.

This class is great. The teacher is so funny and knows how to keep your intrest. The midterm and final have many different componets but it is for the students best intrest. There is also on the midter/final many extra credit points built into it.

Tough prof, however, if you do what's expected of you...you will get a good grade! She doesn't take cr*p from anybody, so don't even try to pull one on her. And do not plan on talking/using your cellphone in her class as she expects your full attn. She's really good at making class interesting w real stories...so it's not hard to pay attn to her.

Not a bad teacher. Very energetic, good for this paticular class. Makes you feel comfortable. Read a comment about not ticking her off because she may take it out on your grade. I agree 100%. Despite above average class participation, completing every assignment (from an average to good grade) still got an unfavorable grade.
