Worst professor ever. Never take him. Explains nothing and Exams are 60% of your grade, so do bad on one you do not jump back.

I strongly disliked this professor. The only thing in the grade book are tests and quizzes. All of them are online so he does not grade or give feedback on anything. His accent can make him hard to understand and he talks quite. He does give 4% extra credit for perfect attendance though. That's literally how I passed this class.

A little difficult to understand, but offers a TON of extra credit. You definitely have to buy the textbook and actually read it, because the quizzes and tests have really specific questions that you won't get from lecture. He gives a ton of extra credit- I got over 100% on every exam.

The same thing happens each class. Be sure to study hard for each test and quiz, he does offer a lot of extra credit with each test. Make sure you participate in group discussions, your group will grade you. If you pay attention, study, and prepare for each class you will will receive a good grade.

Professor does two chapters and then a quiz, followed by one more chapter then a test over the three. The quizzes and tests are easy to pass because everything is from the notes and from class discussions. There is always extra credit on tests and quizzes. He shares stories and has been all over the US and is very enjoyable to listen to.

I took World Medical Geography with him and I honestly don't understand how some people did so poorly. The tests are about 60 questions long, but only graded out of 40, so you have a chance at 20 extra credit points. If you attend class, he goes over everything, but I would also suggest reading the chapters. Class discussions happen regularly.

This was my hardest class to date. The tests and quizzes are hard, but he offers a lot of extra credit on every test. The last test I took was 60 questions and it was out of 40, so there's that. He's helpful, but the content is hard. Read and do the assignments and you'll do fine, especially with the extra credit + 4% for perfect attendance.

Nice guy would take him again. Content and tests are tough, so expect to read a lot. Pay attention to lectures. Gives good amount of extra credit, definitely helps. Group discussions, choose group wisely because they give you your grade. 6 tests, 6 quizzes, no homework, 4% extra credit for perfect attendance, no projects.

Lecture everyday and assigns in class group discussions that are a waste of time. Choose group wisely, you're graded by team members. Tests are pretty hard, must read book and pay attention to lectures to pass. He is passionate about topic but it doesn't seem to make the class easier. Strong accent, takes time getting used to

If you like plain white powerpoints, this guy is for you. Kind of hard to understand in lecture, and pretty much makes you self teach the class to yourself. But he does give you extra credit if you go to almost all the classes. All his tests questions pretty much come from the book, and whatever random words he writes on the board

Lenient on attendance / make-up exams for school-sponsored activities (no questions asked, really smooth). He's a nice guy and his classes are just about taking notes and memorizing those notes. Not too bad with some minor investment.

You take the tests/quizzes, then he lectures over the material. That is right. He lectures over material after you have already been graded on it. it is 100% up to you to read the book before the tests/quizzes because he doesn't talk about it until after the test.

Very hard to follow and understand. lectures are pointless and theere is no class notes, its all self reading and self note takeing. Tests are bassed off from the chapter and whatever facts he thinks are importan. if you didnt take the right notes down your screwed. Tests also must be his exact answer word for word or your wrong.

I dont understand how some people think this guy is hard. All you have to do is take notes and STUDY. He usually tells you what is going to be on the tests and quizzes. The tests are also curved so if you mess up you can still get a decent grade.

I took this class online, and it was mainly just discussions and weekly quizzes. The quizzes usually have about 4-8 multiple choice questions and 1-4 essay questions. The essay questions come directly from the learning modules posted on the online class website. Very easy grade if you do ALL the discussions and quizzes...easy A for me

Dr Cerdena is fairly easy but you have to do the work. He is not going to give it to you. Some of the quiz questions can be hard to find so be ready for them. Read the articles in the soft cover current events book. I did not see a good list of what the quiz would have, that was frustrating at times. Always very helpful but a bit slow to respond.
