Wonderful professor, completely dedicated to helping each of her students understand the material. If you put in the effort and show that you're trying, she'll do the same for you. Always replies to emails quickly and provides constructive feedback on every problem you get wrong. Best professor I've ever had!

I love love love Mrs. Fister! She is one of the greatest math teachers I have ever had. I had a B, all semester, but the final ended up dropping my grade to a C, which sucked. But it wasn't her fault whatsoever! She is so very helpfuland tries her hardest to make sure everyone understands. Its your fault if you do poorly with her as your professor.

Dr. Fister is an awesome teacher! I don't like math but I actually ended up liking this class. The tests and quizzes are only from stuff you do in class and there isn't much book work, she uses mathxl. You can tell she really truly cares about her students and loves what she does. She does a great job explaining things and her class is never boring: she relates things to what her students are interested in. I would recommend to take this class! Overall, one of the best college teachers I've had.

Great teacher! She is willing to explain things as many times as you need in order to understand the material. She gives partial credit on quizzes and tests so even if you get the answer wrong you can still get points for it. Plus there are extra credit opportunities! I wish I could take her for all my math classes!

Dr.Fister is not only a great teacher but she is also an amazing person who really wants to help each and everyone of her students! She also knew everyones name by the 2nd week of class! Overall an excellent teacher! She makes things easy to understand and is very helpful. She even has review sessions the night before tests and the final if you need extra help. Also, she takes groupwork and homework grades to help raise your grade, and extra credit opportunites. I got an easy A. Definitely recommend her!

Very helpful. She doesn't waste time going over things you already know, but if you don't speak up and she'll explain. Do the homework she assigns you early and when a student needs help on the question volunteer to slove it. you'll receive an extra point for every time you do problem on the board that counts towards your test. VERY GOOD TEACHER!!!

She is awesome. She uploads notes to internet before class, uses a tablet pc to do notes in class, then uploads them after class as well. Gives practice exams, helps a lot in class, very nice. She also gives you a chance to bring up one test grade at the end of the year. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Fister is an excellent math professor. She uses a tablet pc so that you can always have clear and legible notes, and always post her notes way prior to that day so that you can come to class prepared. She is very helpful and probably the best math professor MSU has to offer, I highly recommend her.

She is a GREAT teacher. She is very willing to help inside and outside of class. She hates it when half the class skips, and sometimes when that happens, she gives extra points to the ones that do show up. She also gives bonus pts. almost everyday for those who work problems on the board that others have questions about. I DEFINITELY recommend her.

She was a great teacher. She has very reasonable standards and even easy. She does everything she can to help you understand and do well in her class. Many opportunities for extra credit. She is easy to communicate with by e-mail and attendance is not very strict although it helps. She's great. And if you don't like math she'll still help you.
