I took this class online. I was disappointed in the lack of participation Gupta took in the class. There was no syllabus, just a note on Moodle to register on My Math Lab and begin doing work. Email responses were late or scarce. We also found out the day the first test was due that it was required to be proctored which was inconvenient.

Great teacher. Very nice lady and is the kind of teacher to work with you if you are struggling(and the kind of teacher to give you a couple extra points or extra credit chances). Would recommend.

Mrs. Gupta is the best Math professor at LSUA. She makes it so easy to understand. I took her for my remedial Math and then again for 1021. I came out with an A in both classes. Before taking my remedial math, I was terrible at algebra. She gave me a great foundation to move on to more difficult classes. Highly recommend taking her for any math!

Really helped me understand about some topics of mathematics that I struggled with. Was easy to access to go into more depth about some topics. Responds to emails as quickly as she can.

Professor Gupta is great. I am taking stat online. I had a high grade and bombed one of her exams dropping me to a C. She later e-mailed me offering a retake. I have never had a professor who is so attentive to an online class and cares so much that you pass. Statistics is difficult but if you have to take it online I recommend her highly.

Professor Gupta is an angel. I had a high A the whole class and bombed one test and it dropped me to a 79, she immediately emailed me asking what happened and if I would like to meet with her to talk about things. She cares so much about her students and if you show her you are actually trying she will always help you out. I highly recommend her!!!

As long as you show up to her lectures and take notes, you won't be lost. Do the homeworks and quizzes. Make sure you ask her questions if you are having trouble. Such a sweet professor and a great class.

Dr. Gupta really cares about her students. She is very clear in her lectures and gives more than enough time to complete homework assignments. She rarely uses the textbook but it's helpful. She gives bonus points on tests for completing chapter reviews. Sometimes she'll give tests online.

As much as I thought this class was going to ruin me it didn't. I despise statistics and swore that I was going to finish the class with a low B I ended up finishing with an A. I have no idea how but very thankful because she saved my GPA. I took the course online and it was hard but she is good about giving you credit.

She is not very organized, not prompt at giving back test scores. Does offer extra credit worth 3 points. Gives a ton of homework and quizzes to take. Test are not long or hard. Only four test during semester better make them count. Good professor poor teaching skills. Must attend class, to understand material.

After not being in school for 13 years I was afraid of Math, I have a C in her class but I am no longer afraid of Math. She is very helpful and really wants you to learn. I am upset she is not teaching my next Math that's required.

Dr. Gupta is very nice, but very unorganized. Each exam except the last two was online but was different. For example: the first exam was open book, the second exam was open notebook and the third and fourth exam was neither. Dr. Gupta promised open book if we made a 90 on the review but changed her mind when it came time for the test.

Had a 50/50 online/inclass Contemp. Math with her. When she taught, it was very easy. Last two chapters were online and very hard to understand. Instead of teaching us in class she sent us to teach ourselves (which is impossible for me). Dont understand why she couldnt have just taught us. But she is a good teacher. i wouldnt take her for an online class at all.

Very nice lady. Explains things very well. College Algebra is a hard course, she tries to help you as much as she can. It does take her a while to return tests so our class wasn't quite sure where we stood before taking the final. It is a hard class but she does help! I am glad I took the course with her as my teacher.
