I really enjoyed working with Dr. Friedman. Her blackboard is pretty messy and sometimes its tough to follow, but everything else was great. I learned a lot and you can tell she really cares about her students and their successes. Would definitely take the class again.

While the class is very easy, it is such an organizational disaster. There is constant confusion regarding things such as class directions, online assignments, due dates, etc. It is easy to tell the professor even leaves the GTAs feeling confused. Most assignments lack depth and meaning, but I suppose the easiness makes it more bearable.

Dr. Friedman has such a heart for teaching. She is kind of unorganized. That is my opinion and many of my classmates agreed. Although this class is easy, it is not something you should ever blow off, there is a lot of homework but it is easy and meaningful. I enjoyed this class!

Comment:
C&T100 was a horrible experience. The class was extremely jumbled, deadlines thrown around then changed, and TA's were not at all helpful because they were often finding things out last minute as well. Also, the same subject is discussed for the entirety of the course, making it extremely repetitive and lacking any real "education" after week 2-3.

Dr. Friedman is someone who really cares about her students, but shouldn't be teaching this course. She is very unorganized and the class is very confusing. Whenever she assigns work it is very confusing and not very effective. A lot of the work that we did in the class didn't seem necessary. Maybe it's just that the class needs to be restructured.

Friedman is a good teacher and is very passionate. However, the blackboard page for this class is always very jumbled and confusing. assignments buried in folders within folders within folders, random deadlines etc. This class should be an easy A, but if you struggle with keeping track of online assignments like I do, you might get a B.

Reva herself was great but the class was also taught by graduate assistants and they were ok. Work was easy once but the instructions for everything made the class difficult, nobody ever knew what was going on. The class offers a lot of extra credit, most people ended up with an A.

Dr. Friedman is a little loopy if I do say so myself. She was very unorganized and most of the assignments she put online were never even mentioned in class. Friedman was very forgiving though and mostly any assignment you forgot she would give you full credit. As long as you come to class and try to make out what she says you should be fine.

Dr. Friedman was the most unorganized teacher I have ever had. She was extremely confusing with her in class directions of what we needed to do, and also online. She is extremely smart and knows a lot about education but she just doesn't get it across well.

This class is a mandatory class for the school of education at KU and it's painful. For a 100 level class, it's course work does not follow the lectures and the discussion sections have nothing to do with the homework assigned. She's a kind professor, but doesn't know how to connect what you're learning with her lectures. Miss 4 classes, you fail.

this was probably by far the most unorganized class I have ever taken. The whole class was unclear on what was going on and when we asked questions they were rarely answered and just confused me more. Thankfully there were no tests but you are always working in a group.

The entire class is group based, it was EXTREMELY unorganized and made me not want to become a teacher after taking this class. The biggest assignment of the year was given too us two weeks before the end of the semester and was highly unorganized. It's a mandatory class for the School of ED otherwise I would have dropped.

Friedman is a nice lady, but her assignments are super vague. She never gets mad when you ask for help, but she isn't good at explaining assignments. This class was interesting, but I wouldn't retake it for fun.

She is so unorganized and is not clear on her instructions at all. She is horrible at explaining the concepts but then gets mad when someone asks a question. Its an easy A, but sometimes it doesn't seem worth it.
