He was very helpful! I liked how he canceled classes so much. He had one on one time when it came to writing papers, which i believed helped me more in his class! He also would have us do peer evaluation when we were writing papers! You do write alot of papers in this class!

This guy's class is not too difficult, however he is a complete jerk. Im a student in my 4th year of college, and this guy takes the cake. Ive never had a teacher that was rude besides this guy. There is one benefit to him- he cancels class ALL THE TIME. Besides being condescending, and a thoughtless jerk, this guys class is only tolerable.

He is very boring and speaks in a monotone voice. I feel like I'm in Eng. 250 all over again b/c he reviews "how to write papers" too much. It is a waste of time and he has an attendance policy that sucks. You have to accomodate his schedule if you want to meet w/ him for help. It's an easy class.

I HATE REX WEST. No teacher has ever gone so far out of his way to make someone uncomfortable or feel inadequate. He is immature and as others have dully noted, extremely moody. If you're a regular student who asks questions I would recommend seeking a teacher who can actually teach, not critisize.

He picks favorites and then has the nerve to make fun of the people who he doesn't "like". People tell me he is great, but he was a jerk when it came to me. So if you are the silent, I have to get an A on everything type, you should take him. If you are opinionated however, beware and stay clear.

this guy is a jerk. if you do something wrong, he doesn't just correct you or tell you to stop, he makes fun of you. he is helpful, but thinks everyone has to write a certain way. if you have him use the sticky notes in portfolios, he freaks if you don't.

Wonderful teacher. Hes really understanding, and knows how to relate to his students. He tries to get to know his students on a personal level and involves everyone. Has an awesome personality and does a wonderful job teaching this subject.
