I read every text and got 100 on every quiz but I any answer I gave in class that wasn't what she thought was immediately dismissed. We only had a couple of papers and I wrote mine and had two of my english major friends go over them prior to handing them in and I still received bad grades. Her comments on those papers were rude and unprofessional.

She can be a little intimidating at times, but if you make an effort and read the material she's great. Her class was so fun!! You absolutely HAVE to read the books (it's not like they were hard to read) because she quizzes on all of them! But overall it was a great class! I loved it, would take another class with her in a heartbeat.

Doc Brock is great! Terribly interesting, and really loves what she's teaching. Very open to other points of view, and appreciates a good discussion. Do your best to read the books- she puts a lot of thought into them, and tries to make them interesting. Treat her with respect, but she has a great sense of humor!
