Not easy topic selections; declined most of the class' topics twice. In 1 week: mid-term, speech outline, read 2 chapters, 2 quizzes, etc. I only get 2 hrs sleep/night and still couldn't complete everything due. Must check daily for changes or updates.Guidelines too scattered, confusing due dates, hard to follow online class = frustrated A student

I took Mrs. Rye's class a year ago and though it wasn't my favorite class of all time, i learned a lot. This class is tough, you will have plenty of work to stay busy, but if you plan to work Management, law, or instruction anywhere, this class will be useful. It is not a coast class, but there are ways to gain extra points (such as joining Debate)

She is the worst teacher I have ever experienced. She makes it so you have no life. Its only speech class and she makes it seem like its the most important class ever my comm1 class I'm taking now is easier than that. If you want to have no life for a semester then take this class if you want to get a easy A in speech then DON'T take it with her!

I had Ms. Rye years ago. I think she is one of my favorite teachers. She made Speech class fun. Everyone was nervous of course, but she helped us get over that with ease. If you need this class, as most of us do, take Ms. Rye, you will not be sorry.

Ms. Rye is an awsome teacher!!! Her class is tough but you actually feel like you learn something. She sets a great example of public speaking. She keeps you attention throughout the whole class period. If I had to take this class agian it would definatly be with her. What I really learned from her is true with her class and all classes that people who sit in the front usually get an A, second row a B, and so on. Thanks agian Ms. Rye!
