riaz let some students get away from the texts and into flights of fancy. this meant the rest of us were forced to listen to some pseudo-intellectual **** that had nothing to do with the class. ALL our classes were unfocused in this way. it drove me nuts! avoid his classes if you hate hearing people talk to hear their own voice.

Unbelievably bad. You have to be there to believe it. He allows pseudo-intellectuals to dominate discussion, even when it is off topic. Half the time you do not even discuss the reading, but rather some loud-mouth's ideas about philosophy. I was bored and annoyed. Don't take him if you expect to learn something.
