can be tough but take him if your an accounting major, homework every class, read chapters if you are confused, but he is always in his office if you need help! Took him for acct 201 and 203, if you put the effort in you can get a good grade! tests seem hard but just study the chapter problems and he gives alot of partial credit

Horrible teacher. Extremely confusing, unreal amount of homework. Every test is like taking a final. Once asked him to take another look at my test after already receiving a poor grade and he ended up giving me a 0. He gives an enormous project which is nothing but tedious. Not understanding, extremely strict. WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN. EVER

Great person, passionate, will help anyone who wants it, but makes everything sound more complicated than it is and outrageous hw loads that are sometimes just tedious and wont help on a test. Expects a lot (reading chapters twice) but will spend as long as it takes to help you understand. Always in his office.

I love Dr. B. Wicked nice guy and hes not always very clear in class but he responds to emails right away and is always happy to meet after class for extra help. Took him for 201 and im taking in for 202 next semester. If you want a teacher who is always going to be there to help you and who knows his stuff, take him!

Very hard class and he is not the best teacher. He teaches clearly, but is'nt very nice. Makes students erase the board after each class. Hard tests and a good amount of homework. I dropped his class and im gunna take it again with someone else.

Soooo nice, smart, passionate, and respectable but severely lacking in ability to teach. Modern accounting should not be taught as if this were the 1950s. Even the textbook suggests basic use of technology to supplement accounting principles best understood on paper.

I can see how some people dislike Bernardi but he is not that bad. Yes the amount of homework is sometimes outrageous but his exams are USUALLY fairly simple. (Does throw a few curve balls sometimes) Class problems reflect the ones on the exam. Plus he is always in his office so if you ever need help just ask him.

actually, dont pay attention to the post below mine. he is horrible at teaching. he's an extremely smart man, but he flies by problems expecting us to know where he got all those numbers from. not very helpful with extra help. huge workload (not exaggerating) and very hard.

Dont pay attention to the post below, Dr. B is a good teacher. Math error, yeah right, that guy does quicker math in his head then I can do on my calc. He's very straight forward, tells u all about his course, no lies. He wants u to learn, & if u go to him for help, you'll leave his office knowing the answer. I'd take him again if it was available.

Dr. Bernardi is the absolute worst teacher I have ever had in my entire student career. His teaching style is ludicrous, his notes are pure jargon, and he has the arithmetic skills of a chimp--consistently making mathematical errors on the board.
