While his feedback was good on some things for the most part i found things unclear. Handed in all assignments and got good feedback but received an F when i checked my final grades. I hope i never have this prof again made that semester miserable.

Richard cares about his students, he really went out of his way to help me find a variety of research materials and always had something to say / suggest. I liked his small crit format except for the fact that I got stuck with somewhat clueless class mates. He's a really good teacher I would recommend him in a heart beat.

I loved Richard's class. He's a laidback, really chill prof. You can tell that he loves what he does. He treats students w/ complete respect, on a peer-to-peer basis vs. a prof-student level. He broke me out of a huge drawing rut, & got me exploring new possibilities with my work. He also has some great tunes that he brings to class sometimes! ;)
