This has been by far the best professor I have ever had for any AJ class. Talks about any topics you have in mind and gives you a study sheet before a test that helps a lot. Must take this professor if you are serious about learning your rights and the law.

Mr. Cook is great. He makes learning a breeze. You have to show up to class but you dont need the book. I loved his class. I love how he brings in and discusses newspaper clippings of current events. Im studying law and took AJ as an elective. His class is a must for everyone. He also has a great sense of humor.

Professor Cook is a great teacher! He has interesting stories that he relate to the class. Coming to the lectures are a must! The midterms can be difficult but as long as you come to class then you'll do fine. Gives out extra credit if his phone rings. Very helpful! He is probably one of the best teachers at evergreen

I've taking Prof.Cook for three AJ courses, and he kept the material jumping off the white board! He is a wealth of information. If you take good notes and study, you should receive a good grade. I would take him for all my AJ courses if he taught them.

Wow!Incredible experience.Don't know how anyone who has taught 40 years could have so much enthusiasm for his job and for his students. Master storyteller and lots of humor make learning a joy. Study guides cover everything you need--tests are challenging. Offers extra credit. Time flies in his class.

For a 3 hr/day summer session course, he made the hours fly by very quickly. He has hilarious stories about the AJ system and makes the class extremely engaging. He is also very helpful and will give out legal advice. You MUST attend class and take good notes because the test questions will be pulled directly off them. He's not too hard. Easy A/B.
