Dr. Crepeau class is tough but very doable. Stay on top of the weekly readings and write down everything during his lectures and you will be fine. His tests are tough, pay attention to people, places, events when you read the books. You will not pass this class if you do not attend class and take notes. He is very nice and helpful.

Attend class, take notes during lectures, and read the assigned text. His exams are definitely hard and he expects the two papers to be well written. He doesn't hold your hand so don't expect a study guide. Let's be real though, this is college. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. Put in the effort and you'll do good.

Long and boring lectures. Only 2 exams and no study guide. He told us to "study everything" and most of what he said wasnt even on the test. He failed to mention until AFTER we took the exams that one test would be worth 3 separate grades. When we asked how he would grade us at the end he said he'll see how it "magically" comes together.

Top rate professor. You'll work for your grade but you'll learn more about the subject than you could want. Funny, personable, knowledgeable. Has a very deep knowledge of the subject. I would take the class again.

Lecture only class, no powerpoint or anything. Only grades are a midterm, final, attendance, and 2 papers. The biggest problem with this class is he gives NO dates for anything. No due dates for papers or when to read things. He literally tells you Thursday you have a paper due for the next class. No study guides either, he says "study everything".

I took him for History of Baseball and American Culture. He and Dr. Astro are pretty funny professors, and the class is very casual. You really don't need to focus on your grade. Just do the readings and throw a long paper together for the final and you'll walk out with an A.

Very good class with a great professor. 4 books, two papers and a midterm and final make up your grade. Attendance not mandatory but he will help you out if you go to class often. Lived through the period so had interesting stories plus lecture was full of info. All in all a very good class. Would take again.

This class is EXTREMELY boring. I'm very interested in sports (especially football) but i've never found this topic so boring in my life. The one test we had this semester included topics that 99% of the class had never heard of. The papers were pretty easy but we were provided with no real direction. If you want to stay awake stay away.

Although this class is mildly boring, Dr. Crepeau makes up for it with his sarcastic humor. The only grades in this class were three papers (one with a powerpoint) and a "journal" on our response to a book we read throughout the semester. At the end of the year, he even took us out to lunch to Urban Flats and he paid for all of us!

Very smart man. He is a genius when it comes to history. I appreciated his knowledge, but his lectures were slow. The grading of the class was never explained. Three books, a project, and a few essays. No tests. Very nice man, very helpful. I probably would have enjoyed the course more if I liked history because he knows so much about it.

Lecture is a bit dry because he reads basically 20 minute segments aloud, but you do watch videos. 3-4 short papers and an essay exam for the final. His structure is a little weak.

Crepeau's lectures are extremely hard to follow. There is no organizational structure to the class and regardless of the class which you are taking, it WILL turn into sports history. There are written assignments and essay tests, all fairly graded. He is extremely boring and unorganized.

Dr. Crepeau is amazing. No tests, but 3 books. It was a whole lot of reading, but only writing assignments. There were no in-class essays. It was all lecture. A journal is the principle grade (for each ch. assigned/vids), essays, and 1 10-min presentation. Dr. Crepeau's a really interesting and relaxed guy! Very recommended - in for a treat!

Crepeau, if it were humanly possible I would have your babies... Your class was awesome, and you will be missed, or time together was short and sweet. Take him honors and you will enjoy great discussion, no tests, and limited writing assignments. But dispite being limited in the work aspect I have never gotten more out of a history course...

NOT EASY!!! He is very knowledgeable about the material. Funny as well, but by no means easy. Lectures are pretty fast and erratic and by this I mean hard to keep up with and take notes. Definitely a challenging course.

Crepeau has a great sense of humor and will make you THINK and DISCUSS, not merely memorize multiple-choice answers. He has been very helpful in office hours and after class. He's my favorite professor this semester!

My favorite professor at UCF. His insights reguarding Americana are incredible. Yes, his lectures can be a little slow, but that really doesn't matter because the books are usually good and his discussions are amazing.

I rarely went to class, and I'm getting a C in the class. He randomly gives out paper assignments, but accepts late work. Exams are essay only and not incredibly difficult if you study. Lectures are very boring--many kids slept during class.
