While there's reading everyday, it isn't detrimental if you were too busy to read one night. Participation is what matters in his class and there are few papers. He really explains all the books masterfully while encouraging you. 10/10 would recommend.

Brilliant man, great to take for Human Condition because he knows all of the works inside out in English and in the languages they were originally written in. It's a lot of reading at times, but do it! You don't want to dissapoint this amazing man. He almost always has a smile on his face. Please don't make him frown!

Most brilliant person I have ever met. The single most knowledgeable person at Adelphi about EVERYTHING! He is not only an absolute genius, but the most talented teacher I have ever come across. Do anything you can to take any class offered by him!
