Your grade depends on weekly quizzes, midterm, and final. The questions are ridiculous, asking about the most meaningless things in an attempt to lower your grade. You better memorize everything in every chapter or you will have a difficult time. Then he has the nerve to complain every week how bad most of the class did on the tests. Terrible...

this teacher is TERRIBLE!!!! his quizes suck and dont match up with the material we were suppose to read.. And he flys through the powerpoints, so fast no body can write down any of it. Then he will put the class down cause we all did bad on the quiz. He is probably the reason I wont get my associates this year, because of his crappy teaching!!!!!!

I'm not sure this is the same R. Gordon that teaches CJ 113,but it sounds like it. This guy was really lazy, lectures are boring. This class was really hard and your basically teaching yourself. There is a quiz ever week and you basically have to read the chapter at least 3-4 times and outline it. who has that kind of time.

This guy is the VERY WORST teacher at Schoolcraft. Avoid at all costs or your GPA WILL suffer. He lies to the students the first night when he says he doesn't give a final exam, WRONG expect a final on chapters he wont even bother to lecture over. He has no idea on how to relate to the student. You have been warned!! Stay away!!

When I took Gordon I was told by a counselor it would be a cake class....WRONG! He never made it clear what he wanted and we had 16 students at the beginning of the semester we ended with 5. This guy is a huge mistake. If you got more than a 3.0 Be VERY happy. I asked if he could do the work we did, he said yes but itwould take him3 wks insteadof 1

I would rather have a root canal done with no pain medicine then take another class with this SOB. The man didn't keep his word as far as testing. I should have recieved a 4.0 but I got a 3.6. You have no idea where your at in class, and he doesn't return any work done by the student. Painfull

The worst teacher I've encountered in 26 years of taking classes. Most students drop. Unrealistic expectations. Unfair grading scale. Doesn't teach material. Unfortunately tenured and Schoolcraft can't get rid of him!
