Dr Grant is a good guy and has a true passion for teaching physics, but in my opinion, he is not good at teaching a class. He skips steps and goes really fast when doing problems. He also doesn't use blackboard. Although, is very willing to see you during office hours to resolve questions. His quizzes are alright, but his tests are killer.

Awesome professor to have for such a boring subject. He tried to keep things interesting and is really willing to explain difficult stuff to you if you dont understand it. Great about giving partial credit on tests. Study hard and do questions that he recommends in book. RECOMMEND HIM

Wow this guy was great! For real this class was a blast and I enjoyed his personality (not bad to look at either!!) and he was always very helpful and open to any questions...he really made that class one of the best I've taken!!!

Dr. Grant is SO much fun! I imagine his teaching style is a little different for his actual science classes, but he made this May Term class soooooo much fun! He's open to questions, always helpful and clear with directions. Take him when you can! Wonderful professor :)

Very nice view when he's writing on the blackboard. Seriously, he's a good teacher and saved my ass after the semester from hell with Dr. Reed. Do the work and it's a fun class, especially with the bagpipes.
