Very clear in his expectations. Listening assignments can sometimes be difficult, especially with the older music selections. By doing an oral presentation, you can earn up to 25 extra credit points!! Pay close attention to lecture notes and not so much on the reading assignments.

If you're not interested in Choral or vocal jazz ensemble, you might wind up with him. I found him to be crass and a bit snobbish. He did not clearly explain what I could do to improve my playing technique, & he most definately didn't help me grow my chops. Go w/ Jim Hontz for clear guitar tutelage.
