Harmon is an okay professor. I found his grading to be a little ridiculous. He takes TONS of points of for not labeling ALL of your work. His test are all open ended. He isn't very helpful when you ask a question because he expects you to know your stuff. He isn't horrible though. Taught me organization. Would recommend him if you have patience.

Great Professor! I never had CHE before. He explains very well. His tests are easy if you follow in class and do the homeworks. He is pleasant and not dismissive. I am taking CHE 105 next semester and registered for the only CHE 105 that he teaches. The time and day is not convenient for me but I rather have him as my CHE Professor.

TAKE HIM!!! SERIOUSLY!! IF you are taking chemistry and bio together.. and want something to ease the pain in studying.. take this guy! he's awesome! I got a 97 for the semester and believe me...im not one of those smart people that just get it the first time.. i usually need to go over things twice but with harmon.. easy!

Had Prof. Harmon for chem 112 lab, he was extremely helpful and clear in what was needed to complete the lab. There was a new lab every week, and he gave a lab quiz every other week. Study the problems from the labs and u will be set for the quiz. He even took time out to explain material which i did not understand from my lecture prof.

Prof. Harmon is excellent!He's not hard, even if you get wrong answer, he gives partial credit. He's very helpful, patient, kind. Drops the lowest quiz and a test. Would defenatelly recommend him.

I had him for lab, and I absolutely love this guy! He is always there to help you, and unlike most teachers who get annoyed if you ask one too many questions, he has so much patience. If you take him for Chemistry Lab, consider yourself to be lucky. I'm trying to get him for chemistry 105!

Professor Harmon is a very good teacher. If you haven't taken Chem in awhile, I would highly recommend taking his Che 005 course before Che 105. It will help you tremendously. I had him for both classes and his tests are almost identical. Just read the text, do the homework assignments, show up for class and you will pass with a good grade.

This guy is the best. Teacher and person. Beware though! if you dont do the handouts and study the material, youre toast!! you will get buried in this class. The handouts are the key! And if you dont understand something. ASK HIM, he is totally there for you and wants you to ask him. Taking him again in the summer and looking forward to it.

Comment:

Prof. Harmon is a great teacher.He gives his own notes and what he expects you to know. He is straight forward. You just need the textbook to do some assignments. Make sure you ask questions if you don't understand because it will hurt you when it comes to the quizzes. He grade the top 4 quizzes out of 5. He trys to make the class interesting.
