I feel as though he sincerely cares about the welfare of his students. He makes an extra effort to learn and remember everyones name. He allots time in lectures for students to ask questions, and when they do, he does not hesistate to go back and clarify whatever the problem may be. He knows everything there is to know about 20th century music theory and consequently goes through lecture material a little too quickly for some students... but go to him during office hours and he'll be very helpful.

This is course was somewhat disorganized and strange b/c he was rewriting the material. Next year will be better. He's such a talented prof, with ingenious ways to explain theory. Very approachable, helpful, and pleasing to look at!
