This is a professor who has been teaching for over 40 years. This means he has been out of the field of communication for over 40 years! The field has changed but he has not. He is sexist and only talks at you. You will have loads of group projects too. Also you present chapters to the class and he will not teach, everything he says is conjecture.

Professor Lorenc appears to be a bit behind in video production and post-production. He has struggles to keep up with technology and he writes detailed notes on everything. In class he had one of his student workers helping and I felt like he was a lot more knowledgeable than Lorenc. But Lorenc does have a lot of contacts in the field.

Just don't slack off. He respects people that respect him and work hard. He also appreciates team work within your groups. Tardiness is unacceptable...but would you be tardy to work repeatedly? Overall work hard, help out outside of class, and just give the guy a break.

If you dont answer something EXACTLY how he wants it... you dont get the grade you want. Not using his "person-centerness" meaning being open to others ways of looking at ideas. MCOM is a great topic just is taught better by a few of the other professors. Hes ok though- average.
