Super easy class to take during the summer. He lectures for about 10-15 minutes, then lets us work out our own for about an hour. Quizzes and the two outside assignments were super easy. Nice guy overall.

Took this PE class over the summer! He lectured for like 10 min at the beginning of class, then everyone could work out on their own. He walks around and offers help if you need it. Pop quizzes were super easy. He is chill and cares about fitness and his students. Would definitely take him again!

This class is just time where you do your own thing in the gym in Uchida Hall. If you need help on anything he is more than happy to help. He grades attendance on the surprise quizzes he gives in the beginning of class, these are worth about 6 points. If you come late he won't let you take it. There are two simple papers at the end of the semester.

Easiest PE class. Not like other weight training professors by not forcing students to record workout activities. Although he does not take attendance, I recommend going because he gives "quizzes". These easy quizzes are nothing more than writing down what he tells you to write. If you just attend every day, you can get an A

Really unfair. I showed up to late class once because I had trouble finding parking and he wouldn't let me take the quiz even though I explained that it took me forever to find parking. Clustered the quizzes towards the end of the semester instead of throughout the semester. And half the time he rambles about exercising instead of letting us play.

Just show up to class and work out. For the quiz, all you have to do is write your name, draw a circle, or whatever he tells you to put on it. Tests are take him half a page response to some bs question it asks. Really really easy. Some people pretended to work out and got an A.

AWESOME guy. He is very knowledgeable with a lot of experience and credentials to back up what he is talking about. The class is very easy. All you have to do is show up, exercise, do the required assignments, and you'll get an "A". He grades easy too, so just put effort and you'll be good. He is very willing to help if you want advice and tips.

I took his beginning weight training class and it was simple enough, just show up and work out however you want and about once a week he'll give a brief talk on exercise. he tells you what to write down and turn in so you get credit for showing up. there's two papers but they're simple and not a huge deal, i'd recommend him

Easy class if you attend. Need to come for quizzes and participation points. Midterm and Final were take home papers. Class was alright but the ones who knew how to play sucked the fun out of it. They get pissed if you miss a bump, set, etc. I wonder how they will manage in the work field. Anyways good class to improve on your volleyball skills.

Ok, so I like the game of volleyball, but with this professor he makes it seem as if we are going to play in the championships. It is a PE class, for learning yes but mostly it should be fun in my opinion. I did improve my game so I will not knock the guy he knows his stuff. Take it, lots of girls and hard hitting game equates to a good semester.

The class is very fun and he is helpful. Very nice guy who really knows how to teach. I've had many other PE teachers and he is one of the best! He even taught after he was recovering from an accident... what a trooper! A few short essays. Attendance is not mandatory, but he has several quizzes to take place of roll.

He's cool and fun but he'll not hesitate to screw u up if u don't do all the quizes because you're 2 mins late. Be careful if u don't want a volleyball class to drag your gpa down. Fun class but not worth it because it depends on paperwork rather than on your ability or effort to play volleyball.

Really a nice, easy-going guy. He doesn't have any strength requirements for the weight-training class. All you have to do is show up, and take occasional quizzes. He even gives you the answers. The midterm and final are take-home, and he grades easily. I would definitely recommend him.

He understands the class isn't very academic, so he doesn't make it so. He still teaches the basics of weight training, and will give you instruction if you need it. This was a great class, and I would recommend Dr. Montgomery to anyone.

His quizzes & papers are lame. If he doesn't like your paper, your grade drops. I'm an athlete and so is my friend, and we got a D & a C. How many things about volleyball can you write about? It's only a 1 unit class! Stupid instructor.
