STAY AWAY! His lectures are confusing and have nothing to do with his assignments. His homework is long and tedious. His exams are very hard, average was a 53. He doesn't rely on the textbook and provides limited explanation in his powerpoint. I googled pretty much everything in order to understand the topics and complete the homework.

One of the Founders of the Env Dept at WPU. Knows his material inside and out. For a Env Sci Major he is GREAT because you will learn & Understand his passion, for a GE: STAY AWAY!!! You will FAIL. I took him for Hydrology, Lectures were long and full of Info, HW was long and tedious, 1 Midterm, 1 Final, 1 term Paper, 1 PP presentation. Thumbs Up!

He is tough. Most people taking this class is for a GE. Yet he warns everyone that it is a tough class and if you are here solely for the GE requirement that this is not for that and take something else. He is an excellent guy loves what he does and makes you love it too. If he was still teaching i would take him for all my major classes!

one of the toughest guys to deal with as a professor...i never got a grade above a 58 in his class and had thought for sure i had failed but walked out with a C, so i guess the guy isnt as bad as i had thought...good luck and study in his class, the tests are all from the book, making it useless to pay attention to his stories in class

He is not the worst prof that i have ever had ,but he is the definition of unfair. if he likes you then he will give you a good grade if your on his bad side then he will def fail you if you must take this class get on his good side and you will pass! test are really long and hard you will have to study forever to pass it. good luck!

He's enthusiastic about the material, but you'll still be terribly bored. Fortunately, he doesn't give homework and won't give you a hard time if you're caught sleeping. He focuses on a lot of trivial, extremely specific facts on tests, so your class will likely fail them (said he curves at end of semester). His labs take hours to complete.

Interesting that the comment below says he curved, he told our class hes "never used a curve before". I got 75/142 on the first test (~50%) and the curve was so extreme I recieved an A+. Tests are deceiving because his lectures make it seem easy, and then the questions are baseon on obscure and seemingly irrelevant terms and concepts from the book.

prof. pardi is a disorganized teacher,very mean, and has no education what so ever regarding to manners. he does not know how to expalin the class and, and he expects the class to know everything about what he's talking about.i was in his class and no one passed the lectures test test, he was forced to curved the test.do not take him.

he is so unhelpful and confusing, he even made a girl cry last week when she tried to ask for help. it's shame, he seems interested in his field, but he is so unorganized (our syllabus still has the dates from last semester on it), vague, nasty, and you never know what to study.
