Teaches slowly and clearly. I failed the first time I took this course with another teacher and passed with an A- with Dr. Stoy. He allows you to use your notes during exams, and their is no homework.

Great math teacher for those who hate math, like me!!! I actually learned things although did not feel pressured to learn it all at once since all tests are open notes. Great way for me to take math without stressing out. Recommended for design majors in particular to ease the workload.

one of my best teachers... you don't even need to go to class much to pass, just go to the class before the test because he gives notes on what will be on the test, and you can use it during the test. He also ends class early and is always willing to help

Stoy is a great professor, he gives a lot of notes but you can use them on tests (anf final) always asks if there are questions, a great guy and teacher! I even took an early math class just to have him! Also he really doesnt take attendance! His class fills up fast so if you get him your lucky!
