This class was interesting, but slightly challenging. Dr. Utz is a genius, constantly speaking other languages and sharing little bits of random knowledge. I really liked him as a teacher, but the class wasn't a lot of fun. I had no idea what my grade was until the end of the semester. By some miracle, I ended up with a B.

Extremely smart man - speaks several languages and his ability to connect them explain the origins of words was really interesting. The class was easy though - I rarely read, missed lots of classes, and still got an A. Take this class - fun, easy, interesting.

Dr. Utz can speak English, French, German, Old English, Middle English, and Latin. Even though he is German, his accent is so subtle it took me half a semester to notice it at all. He is a God and a great teacher. Very animated, very interesting.

One of the three best teachers I've ever had. He's brilliant and knows his stuff inside and out. Definitely take a class with him, he's courteous, fair, explains things, and will help you until you understand what needs to be understood. 10/10

This guy is super-smart, but he didn't make the class way hard. He knows a lot and gives interesting lectures. Tests are medium-hard.
