He's a good professor, the tests are essays but he gives you all the possibilities before hand and you can take in a notecard to help. Go to class, this is where I messed up, attendance matters but be ready to hear "here" every few words and take notes and you'll be fine. The paper is super easy, only 3 pages. Definitely would take him again.

Archer was great. I was really worried about the class because the exams were all essay questions, but Archer gives you the questions before the exam and tells you exactly what he wants. Attendance is mandatory, if you miss a lot it'll affect your grade. The book was pretty helpful but his lectures give you most of the info needed for exams.

Funny, interesting, engaging. Essay tests but he gives you all of the answers and reviews to clarify what he is looking for in the answer. DO NOT MISS CLASS!! He does not give powerpoint handouts, its all in class notes. The booko is necessary but he puts a copy on file in the library. Awesome Prof!!

He's such a sweet professor! Took him for social psych and it was definitely on the easy side of things. He explains things excellently, doesn't voice his personal opinion, likes discussion, and gives tests back to go over (giving you the most missed questions for the final). He answers questions, and is willing to help. Definitely take him!

Archer is pretty awesome! He does reviews for tests, gives lots of extra credit and is really helpful if you need it. He does have a bit of a tendency to be rudecondescending. Just follow his rules and you'll be fine! His lectures are pretty good, he sometimes will go on and on, but it's just because he's passionate about the subject!

I took him for Social Psych and it's obvious that he really knows what he's talking about. His lectures are to the point and if you just copy down the PPs he shows, you'll be fine. Also, you'll probably need the book to do well. You don't have to read it but just make sure to have it so you can complete the study guide he gives before each test.

I took him this past Spring 2014 and his exams are difficult. I read the book chapters, which helped, but his lectures and notes are very necessary. I would not recommend him, he adds all these examples to the theories that are in the exam which adds on more material to study. Take Prof Roque Mendez, he is easier and straight to the point.

Attendance isnt mandatory. Attendance is extra credit(5 points total, 1 absence= 1 extra credit removed). the two papers are very easy and short. The tests are moderately difficult. You must show up to get the lecture notes and slides(no tracs). YOU WILL NEED THE BOOK. You must study well. He is very enthusiastic about the class. Take him.

Dr. Archer is the sweetest professor ever! You need to study really hard for his tests or you won't pass... He does curve a LOT though so that's good! His papers are super easy A's, too. Do as much extra credit as possible and you will at least get a B! He rambles a lot about pointless things but once in a while he'll make a funny joke! Take him!

I really enjoyed this class. He gives detailed study guides for all the exams. YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOK AND HIS NOTES. 4 MC exams, 1 is dropped., 1 final, and two (completion) papers. you get extra credit for attending all the lectures. He rambles and stutters sometimes, but he is a very nice man and is always willing to help his students.

Human sexuality is an easy class. Read the textbook, take notes in class, and study. Attendance isn't mandatory, but is a plus. I would recommend this professor to anyone taking human sexuality in the future.

an easy going professor, but honestly i've never had a more difficult time paying attention in class. he's long winded and extraordinarily boring, which left me learning the material on my own. not a hard a, just a boring class.

He is a very smart guy who really wants his students to learn and do good in his class. If you do the extra credit and really study you can make decent grades in the class. He drops tests and curves tests. He gives good reviews. my only complaint with him is that he gets off track really easy. He will always help you if you ask for it!!

TONS of extra credit, perfect attendance is one of them. Curves test. Gives out reviews that are exactly the topics on test. TAKE GOOD notes because everything he writes on board will be on the test. I did every extra credit possible and studied my notes and read the book before test and i made a B. Lecture is boring. Test are a little hard.

If you don't like listening to lecture & taking notes don't take him! He's funny and helpful. He's been teaching this stuff 4 years and he really knows his stuff. He gives extra credit. His tests are a little difficult, however he gives reviews b4 each test that he thoroughly goes over in class prior to taking the test. Attendence is mandatory!

Prof Archer is hilarious. He is an old guy who has been talking human sexuality since the 80's. He jokes and has fun but he def knows his stuff. He requires attendance(at least during summer) but if you go and take notes, its an easy A. Fun class and he loves open discussion!
