I took Mr. Brown for Records MGT, FIN, and Micro. I have to say he is the single best teacher I have ever had. Rick does so much for the students and the business program. I never see him in his office alone, he is always with a student. Rick prepared me for the MBA classes I'm taking now. For a community college professor, thats saying something.

great teacher.more than fair. have had 3 classes and have gotten an a in all. you have to try. willing to help any way he can. really knows what hes talking about. hes one of the best teachers at marshall. would recomend him. attendance not mandatory, study guides for test, scarce homework, most extra credit. show up though and his class is easy.A+

He was by far my favorite teacher I ever had. He cared about his students understanding the material. I never wanted to miss his class just because I really did learn the material. I recomend him for anyone and everyone. I looked forward to his classes every semester. You can tell that he loves his job!

If you are going to take an economics class... take him! I have never had a teacher that cared so much about his students. He really wants us to understand, and he will go over everything as much as possible. It's impossible to do bad in there because of all of the extra credit! You even get a detailed study guide for tests.
