Would go right out of his way to help me and my colleagues. Sincerely kind and personable, and easy to follow on the board, which makes dealing with him or his lectures a cinch. He won't give you the world in TC235, but he would cut you a bit of slack. It almost seemed too easy, but maybe that was because the course is easy or he teaches well.
