His lab is much easier than his lecture. But both are difficult. He gives good extra credit and REALLY knows his material, but "mock exams" are terrible and hardly ever covered the material on THAT exam and often you'd be thinking "wow i could have used this LAST exam." he talks really quiet so sit close!

Probably the worst professor at Mesa. So upset that I took this class RIGHT before applying for nursing. He is unclear & NEVER prepared. He says he will "highlight" power points before the test and he always does it the night before if we were lucky but many times wouldn't do it at all. Study guide is worthless. Does a lot of extra credit though!

Horrible professor. Very disorganized and forgetful. Reads off powerpoint slides that are way too wordy (almost 100 slides per powerpoint), study guides are not helpful at all, exams are ridiculously hard. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Awful teacher! Avoid if at all possible! Lectures are super unclear; he talks so quiet and avoids answering questions. Tests over topics that you didn't go over in lecture. Showed up 10 mins late on exam day. Never prepared for class.

His lectures are fairly easy to follow, but he talks really quiet and he likes to share about what has happened in his life - and trust me anything bad you can think of it has probably happened to him! He is a really easy professor and provides lots of tools to make studying easier for tests. His test aren't hard if you even study a little bit.

AWESOME GUY!!!! Very helpful and wants everyone to learn. If you do not show up and try he does not waste time with you. Always is clear on what needs to be known for tests and assignments. Great sense of humor as well.

Great teacher. Had him for Bio209L anatomy, and he really knows his stuff. He goes to each table to teach you bones and muscles instead of teaching the whole class. he sits down and takes the time to teach you, and its very clear that he wants his students to learn. I have a tough time with memorizing, and he made studying a little easier.

Very smart and knows his stuff, but I think he goes into too much unneeded information for his 101 class and gets hard to follow, but if you are really interested in biology he would be great for you! I liked talking to him about things, but would be best suited to stay teaching upper levels or stay in the field out biology out of a classroom.

He has full knowledge of the subject and teaches it well. He goes pretty fast, but you have many days to go over the same subject, so it all evens out. He is always there to answer your questions and he is extremely helpful. I have really enjoyed his lab.
